Course information
BPP's Law Conversion Course (PGDL) provides a pathway for individuals without law degrees to become solicitors or barristers and was introduced as a replacement or alternative to the GDL. The postgraduate Law Conversion Course develops your legal knowledge, professional capabilities and problem-solving skills and is closely aligned to the foundational law elements of the SQE1 assessment.

Company Law (15 credits)
Contract Law (15 credits)
Criminal Law (15 credits)
Land Law (15 credits)
Public Law I (15 credits)
Public Law II (15 credits)
Tort Law (15 credits)
Trusts Law (15 credits)
Foundational Legal Skills (non-credit bearing)
Once complete, you’ll be able to continue your route to qualification either as a solicitor or a barrister.
