Course information
The LLM in Solicitors' Practice is designed to prepare you for the Solicitors’ Qualifying Examinations (SQE). Combining hands-on training with real courtroom experience, guiding you through the essentials of Functioning Legal Knowledge, including ethics, to build on the Foundations of Legal Knowledge gained in your undergraduate studies, successful completion of the course will leave you well-prepared to sit the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE1), meeting the legal knowledge and practical training requirements for qualifying as solicitors.
As many of the course assessments have elements from the SQE2, students will also be prepared to sit the SQE2.

Eligibility requirements
You must have achieved at least a 2:2 in your law degree, with an overall average of 57% or above on your classification.
Alternatively, you must have achieved at least a 2:2 with an overall average of 57% or above on your classification in any non-law degree, and achieved a pass in a Graduate Diploma in Law (or equivalent).
