LLM in Legal Practice (incorporating LPC)
Course information
This is the full LPC master’s course and forms part of the vocational stage of training required if you wish to qualify as a solicitor. The Solicitors Regulation Authority recognises this course as meeting its training requirements and covering the necessary legal topics. As part of your course, you will:
- Study interactive workshops based on realistic case studies that explore the challenge of professional practice
- Learn from a team of academic staff who are qualified lawyers with significant professional experience
- Have a choice of option modules that will enable you to tailor your qualification to your areas of interest
- Complete an extended written dissertation on a subject of your choice, with support from your tutors, during your Independent Legal Research Project

Eligibility requirements
Min. 2:2 UK qualifying law degree/CPE/GDL/CILEx students with exemption from CPE.
In addition all LPC applicants must fall within the SRA's transitional arrangements.
